Ubani resigns as NBA Ikeja caretaker committee member

Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, Mr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, has resigned as caretaker committee member of the branch.

Ubani, in a statement, expressed grievances on the resolute stance of some members of the branch going against the national body in the conduct of the forthcoming election.

He said that his resignation was essential to avoid any form of blemish on his name and reputation by anybody from the branch.

“It is regrettable that I have to resign my membership of the committee that refused to do the right thing in the first place.

“Hypocrisy of this magnitude is a lethal sin. My nature abhors it. I hereby resign my membership of the caretaker committee of NBA Ikeja branch to avoid being part of the persons that will engineer an unnecessary crisis in my beloved branch,” he said.
