Ugwuanyi commissions first free community hospital in Nsukka

Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi yesterday commissioned the first free community hospital in Nsukka, with a pledge to construct 11.5km link road for Ugwu Ajie, Edem and Akpa communities.

Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi yesterday commissioned the first free community hospital in Nsukka, with a pledge to construct 11.5km link road for Ugwu Ajie, Edem and Akpa communities.

The traditional ruler of Ubogidi/Ozalla community hospital, Samuel Asadu, built the 20-bed state-of-the-art hospital.

Ugwuanyi, who was represented by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Simon Ortuanya, said the hospital had put smiles on the faces of people of the community, adding that healthcare delivery system remained the first cardinal principle of the state government.

The monarch called on indigenes of Edem both at home and abroad to think home to better the lives of people in various fields of human endeavour.
