About 10,000 young people are expected to converge on Oregun, Lagos, for UNBOUND 2026, a yearly youth festival organised by The Starhub, the youth arm of Daystar Christian Centre.

  The festival, scheduled for September 12 and 13 at Daystar Christian Centre’s Oregun Centre, will be held under the theme, “GODACITY,” which stands for “Godly Audacity, Gods in the City.”

  According to the church, the festival is designed to explore the intersection of faith and culture, while providing young people with platforms for music, art, dance, spoken word and comedy.

  Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, said the event would provide a space where young people could express their faith without being disconnected from contemporary culture.

  “We’re not trying to build a smaller, safer version of ‘church’ that young people have to squeeze themselves into. We are building a space big enough for who they actually are: their music, their art, their questions, their faith, all of it, at once,” he said.

  Now in its fourth year, UNBOUND will feature Prinx Emmanuel, Kelar Thrillz, Oba Reengy, Gospel Force and Saelem, alongside other artists and creatives.

  The festival will also feature a live discussion on GODACITY, with Ayomide Adetoro, Lamide Akintobi, Ayo Ishola and Ejirhoghene Oghenetegha as panellists.

  Other activities include a Game Zone, Sweet Spot, and open art and dance spaces.
