Professor Simon Irtwange has charged students and staff of the Deeper Life High School across the country to maintain the high standard of academic records that have distinguished them.

Simon Irtwange, a Professor of Agricultural Processing and Storage at, the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, gave the charge while delivering a Keynote Address at the Valedictory Service of the Deeper Life High School, Lafia Campus, Wednesday.

Prof Irtwange stated that DLHS across the various campuses in 21 states in the country has shown a distinguish record of academic performance. Moreso, with the performances of Kamsiyochukwu Umeh and others announced by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board with the best result in the 2023 UTME.

The Professor in his speech said he observed that the school has a unique foundation with discipline, integrity and zero tolerance for malpractice as its core value, coupled with the God factor.

“You are the catalysts for change, the hope of a better Nigeria. As you step into the world beyond these walls, armed with the education and the values instilled in you, remember that you have the power to reshape the trajectory of our nation’s future as limit breakers”, Irtwange said.

Engineer Irtwange further charged the staff and students of the school to keep up with the mission of the founder, which is to ‘make them the best in all aspects of life.

In his remark, the DLHS Lafia Campus Principal, Mr. Banji Akiode, said that the school’s academic structure was based on an overall functional education structure that ensures effective, cognitive and psychomotor domains of learning for students in addition to their moral and spiritual development.

In his charge to the outgoing students, Akiode said: “As you embark on this new chapter of your lives never forget the power of dreams and the importance of setting goals. Your dreams may seem audacious, but remember that greatness lies in pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Dear to dream big, for in chasing those dreams you will discover your true potential.

“Do not be afraid to fail, for failure is often the stepping stone to success. Embrace setbacks as opportunities for growth, and let perseverance be your guiding force. Your determination, combined with the education and values instilled in you, will enable you to overcome any huddle on your path to greatness.

“Limitations only exist if you impose them upon yourself within your mind. Many limit themselves on what they can accomplish in life because they are not aware. Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits. Your own limit is you. The best way to learn is to go beyond your limits and set your own rules. If you can dream it, you can do it.”

The Senior Prefect of the school, Jeremiah Kolade, on behalf of the 29 graduating students of the DLHS, Lafia Campus, 2023 Set, commended the DLHS authorities, staff who made all the sacrifices to ensure they were raised to the enviable academic height. He promised to keep up with the trainings received.
