Urhobo group mourns Dafinone
The Urhobo Renaissance Movement (URM) has expressed sadness over the demise of Chief David Dafinone, a prominent son of Urhoboland.
URM described the scion of the Dafinone family of Okpe in Sapele Council of Delta State as a national figure and a man of international stature, integrity and repute.
Coordinator of URM, Prof. Hope Eghagha, and secretary, Lexzy Ochibejivwie, in a statement made available to The Guardian, described the late chartered accountant as one of the few men in the country who could be said to have made their mark and wealth from hard work and profound vision.
“Senator Dafinone lived a good, worthy, prosperous and long life. We therefore use this medium to express our deepest condolences and pray God to comfort the family during this time and beyond.
