Varsity don advocates grooming of God-fearing leaders
A Theater Arts lecturer and Deputy Director, Academic Planning Division of Plateau State University, Bokkos, Dr. Solomon Obidah Yamma, has disclosed that Adventists institutions are striving hard to restore lost value system.
Yamma, who was a Guest Speaker at the 2019 Speech and Prize Giving Day of Hyde Memorial Secondary School, Jengre in Bassa Local Council of Plateau State, said the aim of setting up Adventists institutions was to produce unique leaders, who fear God.
Yamma called for establishment of an affordable Adventists University in Plateau State for indigent students, saying such would help to solve problems bedeviling mankind.
“In helping our youths to adhere strictly to social values, Adventists education can facilitate their ability to acquire knowledge…,” he said.
