The Federal Government, yesterday, said it had paid more attention to the plight of the poor and vulnerable citizens despite the “economic slump it inherited.”
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, disclosed this in Bauchi during the official flag-off of the second face of N-Skills.
The programme, she said, had 23,991 beneficiaries for the training on additional 11 trades.
The minister said the beneficiaries would be trained in auto-mechanic, leatherworks and shoe-making, smart devices, welding and fabrication, aluminium assembly and fabrication, plumbing and piping, electrical installations, agency banking, tailoring and embroidery, baking and cosmetology, fish farming and jewellery-making and wire works.
