Nigerians in Rwanda celebrate end of year 2022

Nigerians living in Rwanda converged on the capital city of Kigali on Saturday, the 17th of December 2022 to celebrate the end of the year 2022.

It was a time to take stock holistically of the progress of the Nigerian community in Rwanda and a time to wine, dine, catch up with people and intended programmes of the association in the previous year and coming year.

It was also a time to meet Nigerians in all spheres of endeavours who reside in Rwanda and not just Kigali; see old faces, new faces and young and vibrant Nigerian students who are schooling in the different tertiary universities in Rwanda.

Various topics, suggestions, advice and solutions were proffered for those who had knotty questions to ask. And as with every Nigerian event, there had to be wining, dining and marrying, better known as “item 7”.

In attendance were Mr. Dayyabu Shehu from Nigeria High Commission in Rwanda and the exco members; Professor Garba Wali, Dr. Emmanuel Odumeru, Mrs. Mercy Odebode, Mr. Anyanwu Kelechi, Mr. Adegbite Joshua and Mr. Makinde Ezekiel.
