Why we arrested, detained journalist Soyinka – DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS) has said that they arrested a Nigerian journalist, Adejuwon Soyinka, based on a request from another government agency.
News media, PREMIUM TIMES reports that the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, said this in an update.
“We are working on Adejuwon Soyinka’s case,” Afunanya confirmed in a text message to PT but failed to mention the agency on whose behalf the DSS arrested the journalist.
The Nigerian journalist was allegedly arrested and detained by the operatives of the DSS on Sunday morning.

The award-winning journalist’s colleagues said he has not been reachable, as messages and calls to his phone have gone unanswered.
