Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has urged voters not to be deceived by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) claim that it will conduct credible elections.

He said voters should be vigilant and protect their votes in all the elections. .

The governor, speaking at a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally in Obio/Akpor Local Government, asked residents to vote his party to return Nigeria to sustained development.

Wike implored Rivers people to vote PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, so that the moribund seaports in the state and the entire Niger Delta would be revived.

He advised PDP members to ensure the party wins the 359 polling units in the local government.

Director General, Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, Ambassador Desmond Akawor said the projects executed by Wike across Obio/Akpor Local Government are a testament of his performance.
