Wolfgang Kollermann retires at Julius Berger
Firm appoints Martin Brack new finance director
A change of corporate guard has been announced by Nigeria’s leading, safest and most reliable engineering construction company, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.
Mr Wolfgang Kollermann who has served the company as commercial and divisional manager and later as its Finance Director for an unbroken period of 17 years retires with effect from 16th December, 2017. The company has also notified the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the appointment by the Board of Martin Brack, another veteran of the financial operations of Julius Berger as Director and its new finance director.
At a well-attended transition party held at the JBN Utako Abuja office of the company last week to bid the out-going Mr Kollermann farewell and welcome the new finance director, Mr Martin Brack, a symbolic key of the company’s financial operations was exchanged between both gentlemen to good applause by the very distinguished audience.
In attendance at the colourful night of lively, healthy, encouraging and positive speeches and eulogies for both Kollermann and Brack were members of the management and the Board of Directors of JBN Plc; CEOs, executive directors and other senior officials from the Banking and financial sector, and other key private sector operators as well as public officials.
Speakers at the event which became a cheerful celebration of the traditional corporate culture of strength and excellence that defines the Julius Berger Nigeria Plc brand included, amongst others, the Chairman, Mr. Mutiu Sunmonu, CON, the Managing director, Engr. Wolfgang Goetsch, the out-going finance director Mr. Kollermann, the in-coming finance director Mr. Martin Brack, the executive director administration, Alhaji Zubairu Ibrahim Bayi and several others.
