Yoruba World Congress boss, estate consultant honoured over development efforts
The Baale of Ekotedo, Dr Taiwo Ayorinde, has honoured some Nigerians with chieftaincy titles for contributing towards the development of Ibadanland.
Among those honoured recently were Chief Akin Ayorinde, Chief Ayo Ibirogba and Chief Amad Alli.
The Baa Mofin and Yeye Baa Mofin titles were bestowed on Ayo and Mrs Bolu Ibirogba, while Chief Alli was installed as the Atunluse of Ekotedo. Chief Ayorinde was honoured as the Afobaje of Ekotedo in Ibadanland.
The first-class baale said that he chose to honour them for their good works, development of human capital and commitment to the growth and peace of humanity, especially to the course of Yoruba land.
Dr Ayorinde, who is also the president of Yoruba World Congress (YWC), maintained that even though Chief Alli is not a Yoruba by birth, he has greatly assisted people in securing jobs, especially within Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
He charged them to do more in promoting the Yoruba good culture and traditions of respect for one another, among others.
Chief Ibirogba is a legal and property consultant.
