The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in Zamfara State, Barrister Mahadi Aliyu Gusau, through the Zamfara State ADC Women Leader, has distributed ₦5,000 cash assistance to each patient receiving treatment at Samaru Hospital in Gusau, Zamfara State.

The initiative was aimed at easing the financial burden of medical expenses on patients and their families, while demonstrating compassion and support for those battling various health challenges.

The intervention comes at a time when many Nigerians are facing economic hardship and the rising cost of living.

Barrister Mahadi Aliyu Gusau, a former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, recently emerged as the ADC governorship candidate for the 2027 general election.

His supporters said the gesture reflects his commitment to the welfare of the people and his desire to assist vulnerable citizens.
