The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Zamfara State Chapter, led by Kabiru Garba Gusau has clarified the position of the party regarding the ongoing claims by certain individuals presenting themselves as ADC candidates.

He said that the leadership of the ADC in Zamfara State maintains that any person who did not emerge through the lawful and recognized processes of the party, cannot be regarded as a legitimate candidate of the ADC, saying that this position applies to all such purported candidates, regardless of the office they claim to be contesting.

“The party remains committed to upholding its constitution, internal democratic processes, and the subsisting judgments governing its affairs. We have sufficient documentary evidence to support our position and are pursuing all lawful avenues to ensure that the will of the party and the rule of law prevail” he added.

“We therefore advise all those who chose to bypass the legitimate procedures of the party to reflect carefully on their actions. The legal process is ongoing, and its outcome will ultimately determine who is lawfully recognized. We remain confident that justice will prevail”
