AA running mate, other defect to PDP in Imo

Immediate past speaker of Imo State House of Assembly and running mate to Action Alliance (AA)’s Uche Nwosu in the last gubernatorial election, Acho Ihim, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

During the inauguration of the ninth assembly in Owerri, AA lawmaker for Obowo constituency, Kennedy Ibeh, also joined the ruling party.

The Guardian gathered that more defections to the PDP were likely in the coming weeks.

Ihim, who was suspended and stripped of his entitlements by colleagues in the outgone dispensation, said he was identifying with the Emeka Ihedioha administration in the state.
