As the Lagos State local council election draws closer, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Amuwo Odofin Local Council has appointed a former Chief Press Secretary of the local council and the Director of the PLS Independent Media (PIM), Kola Folorunso, as the Secretary of the Media Campaign Committee of the party in the election.

Folorunso, a veteran journalist with nearly two decades of experience, is expected to provide a robust projection of the APC’s image in the local council, as well as that of the party’s chairmanship candidate, Prince Olanrewaju Ismail Sanusi Adedimeji, and the councillorship candidates.

Folorunso previously worked with the former Executive Chairman of the local government, Comrade Ayodele Adebowale Christopher, as the chief press secretary. He also served under the current Executive Chairman of the local government, Engineer Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh, as media special adviser.

His contributions to Vanguard Newspaper and his political experience are remarkable, adding another feather to his cap to help Amuwo APC work again with his media expertise.

The appointment of Folorunso, which takes immediate effect, was anointed by Apostle Ayodele Ogungbiye, the Amuwo APC Chairman and the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Amuwo Odofin Local Government,
