Buhari’s wife begins APC women presidential campaign in Kano
Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari yesterday sought massive vote for President Muhammad Buhari’s re-election in the February 16 presidential election.She specifically solicited support of women and youths for her husband and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates.
The president’s wife spoke at the kick-off of North West APC women and youths presidential campaign team at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.While justifying why Nigerians needed to vote for Buhari, she said the N-Power programme and agricultural initiative of the APC government have improved living standards of women and youths across the country.She assured that APC would consolidate achievements recorded in the last four years, if given the mandate for the next four years.
Former Senate Minority Leader and member of the team, Godswill Akpabio assured the president’s wife of 95 per cent vote for APC from the South South. Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje reassured the wife of the president, of five million votes from Kano.
