Bulama set to emerge APC national secretary

Barring last minutes changes, Waziri Bulama may emerge the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), at least in acting capacity for now.

The Guardian learnt that Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, who was adamant on his state producing the occupant of the seat, has finally decided his support to Bulama who is believed to be in the good books of the Presidency.

The issue was the source of an open altercation between the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the National Vice Chairman North-East of the party, Salihu Mustapha.Mustapha had accused Oshiomhole of foisting Bulama on the party under the pretext of obeying the directive of the Presidency without adhering to laid-down rules and regulations.
