The gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Jimi Agbaje, yesterday cast doubt on the credibility of the Presidential and National Assembly elections, following failure of card reader to accredit him and his wife.

Agbaje, who arrived with his wife at Ward A, Polling Unit 004 Apapa at 11:10a.m. couldn’t vote after several attempts. They were, thereafter, accredited manually.

Agbaje said: “The card reader didn’t work for me and my wife. As far as I am concerned, the card reader is not working and that opens room to all kinds of insinuation and mischief.” He also decried limited number of ballot papers deployed at some polling units in the state.

“In Eti Osa, Ward 9, instead of 500 ballot papers, we were told that 400 were produced. There was also issue at Ikorodu, but we have been told that it’s being resolved.”Agbaje expressed confidence that his the party’s presidential candidate will emerge victorious and urged the electorate to stand by their votes.
