Gombe governor gets 10-year passport
Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said it has issued a 10-year validity international passport to Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State.Yahaya is reportedly one of the few persons enrolled for the new enhanced 10-year passport.
The new passport has, as one of its features, the National Identity Number (NIN), in line with the Federal Government’s directive.A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the NIS, Sunday James, indicated that Yahaya, who visited the headquarters of the NIS and called on the office of the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, met the requirements for the issuance of the document.
