Ikpeazu dissolves Abia executive council
Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council (EXCO) but retained six of 27 commissioners in the cabinet. They are, commissioners for work, Eziuche Ubani; information, John Okiyi Kalu; environment, Aham Uko; finance, Obinna Oriaku; health, John Ahukannah and the state’s Attorney General, Umeh Kalu.
In a statement yesterday issued by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Enyinnaya Appolos, Ikpeazu expressed appreciation to the outgoing members of the executive council for their service to the state.He further directed that they hand over to their permanent secretaries.
