The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has rescheduled the unveiling and inauguration of its National Campaign Council (NCC) from Tuesday, October 20, to Monday, October 26, 2026.
The party said the postponement was due to the tight schedule of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who has an important overseas engagement.
In a statement issued on Monday, the NDC National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change of date.
The party urged its members and supporters to remain focused on its campaign objectives ahead of the forthcoming presidential and general elections.
It also called on party faithful to sustain their commitment to securing victory for Obi and other NDC candidates.
The statement reaffirmed the party’s slogan, “A New Nigeria is POssible.”
