The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Olajumoke Olabisi Odususi, has congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Hon. Folajimi Sunday Oyekunle, on his victory.

The by-election, held on Saturday, August 16, saw Oyekunle declared the winner in a contest that drew significant attention within and outside Oyo State.

In a statement shortly after the official results were announced, Odususi described Oyekunle’s triumph as “well-earned,” praying for God’s guidance and wisdom for him in the discharge of legislative duties.

“I congratulate Hon. Folajimi Sunday Oyekunle on his victory. I pray that God grants him the strength, clarity, and wisdom to shoulder the weighty responsibilities that come with legislative office,” she said.

Odususi also expressed gratitude to her supporters at home and in the diaspora for their steadfast backing throughout the campaign, noting their contributions through moral support, finances, radio platforms, and social media.

“Your encouragement and belief in me have been deeply humbling. May God’s mercy rest upon every one of you,” she added.
