The Bichi’s Ward-wide Ambassadors for Tinubu 2027, a pro-Asiwaju group, has described the member representing Bichi Federal Constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, as a public servant united with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by a shared commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

The group stated this while congratulating Bichi on his 45th birthday, describing the Kano lawmaker as a dedicated representative whose legislative responsibilities and commitment to his constituents reflected the values of selfless public service.

In a statement issued by its Convener, Edward Abakpa, on Friday, the group said Bichi’s contributions to the National Assembly, particularly his leadership of the House Committee on Appropriations, had placed him in a strategic position to contribute to national development.

It noted that the Appropriations Committee plays a critical role in the legislative consideration of the nation’s annual budgets, including the scrutiny of proposed allocations and expenditure priorities.

According to the group, Bichi’s role in the budgetary process demonstrated the confidence reposed in him by the House and underscored the importance of his responsibilities to the country.

The group said, “Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi embodies the qualities of selfless service to humanity, which are also central to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership philosophy.”

It added that both Tinubu and Bichi had demonstrated a commitment to using public office to advance development and improve the welfare of Nigerians, particularly through their respective responsibilities in governance.

Abakpa said Bichi’s representation of Bichi Federal Constituency had also been marked by what he described as commitment to community development and the welfare of his constituents.

“His contributions as Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations demonstrate the enormous responsibility entrusted to him by the House and the confidence reposed in his capacity to contribute to the nation’s development,” he said.

The group said the lawmaker’s 45th birthday was an opportunity not only to celebrate his personal milestone but also to acknowledge his years of service in the public interest.

It prayed God to grant Bichi continued wisdom, good health and strength to discharge his legislative responsibilities, while wishing him many more years of impactful service to his constituents and the country.

The Bichi’s Ward-wide Ambassadors for Tinubu 2027 also reaffirmed its support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, pledging to continue mobilising grassroots support for the administration’s programmes and policies.
