After being decorated with several laurels and awards around the country, elder statesman, Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, is up for another honour in his Taraba State.

The celebrated soldier, Governor Darius Ishaku and 11 other illustrious sons of Jukun land would on December 10 be honoured at award ceremony organised by the Jukun Development Association of Nigeria in Lagos.

The event, which is timed to coincide with Danjuma’s 78th birthday, would take place at the Air Force Officers Mess on Kofo Abayomi Drive, Victoria Island, Lagos. Eminent Nigerians from all hues are expected to grace the event.

The award, according to the organisers, is meant to encourage and motivate Jukun sons and daughters who have used their exalted positions in society to improve the lives of their people and address the unacceptable level underdevelopment and marginalisation in Jukun land.
