Iyabo Ojo Trolls Back At Social
Media Trollers
Notable Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has been battling trollers on social media since she publicly declared her support for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the forthcoming Presidential election, Peter Obi.

The trollers have not allowed the delectable mother of two who recently found love to as they say ‘drink water and keep cup’ since that declaration that she was ‘obidient’. They have openly called the actress of House Wives of Lagos fame names; this is even as some of her fans have been hailing the fair skinned actress for declaring support for the LP presidential candidate.

A tweeter user by name ‘Akerele’ would not hail Iyabo. The fellow who is obviously a fan of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu criticised the actress and dubbed her ‘Alasewo’, which as a bird explained to us means ‘prostitute’. Akerele wrote: “Whether he wins or not, my dreams align with peterobi” ALASEWO Iyabo Ojo @IYSexxy’’. He continued “Madam gboko gboko. Asiwaju doesn’t need your support Asiwaju doesn’t need Alasewo’s support he needs decent women with class, intelligent woman keep your support OLOSHO. @officialABAT will win.”

Social media quacked as soon as Akerele stepped on his sent button. A fellow reacted on the comment section that Akerele should expect a ‘banger’ from Iyabo Ojo and true to that comment, a ‘banger’ he got from the star of Under The Carpet and Beyond Disability. Not only did Ojo react to the tweet, she slammed Akerele for suggesting that she was a prostitute because she exercised her right to support a candidate of her choice.

Writing under a screen shot of Akerele’s earlier tweet, Ojo wrote: “Who is this one, animal, place, or thing?… Akowere, trust me, you’re a product of Alasewo bcos (because) your mother, wife and sidehens are all bonafide members.”

Meanwhile, there has been no further comment from Akerele since Ojo’s repost. It would be recalled that the 45 year-old leading actress made her declaration for the Labour party candidate known via her Instagram page early in February. The actress shared the poster of the Labour Party with Obi’s photo on it and declared him her choice.

Patience Ozokwor Couldn’t Hold
Back Tears For Peace Anyiam Osigwe
LEADING Nollywood Actress Patience Ozokwor who is popular as Mama Gee couldn’t hold back tears, as she paid tribute to the late founder of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, at a special tribute event organised by the Anyiam-Osigwe family in Lagos.

Ozokwor who holds the national honours award of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) wept uncontrollably, as she took her turn to pay tribute to Peace Anyiam-Osigwe whom she described as a pillar of Nollywood.

“What will I tell the women in Enugu that Peace promised she will take to South Africa? Peace Why now… You better come back because the women you promised to take to South Africa are all waiting for you in Enugu… they have been crying and screaming that their dreams of travelling out for the first time in their lives have been dashed with your death… come back ooo Peace,” she weeps profusely.

Ozokwor ended her tribute abruptly and had to be taken off the stage by the event anchors. Ozokwor had led creative artistes in the southeast to hold a candle light event for Peace Anyiam-Osigwe in Enugu on February 6.

The remains of the former President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) was laid to rest on Wednesday February 15, after a funeral mass at St. Dominics Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos.

Mr Ibu Clarifies Status Of His Marriage To Stella Okafor
ALL is not well between veteran actor John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu and his wife of over one decade, Stella. The actor of vast credit revealed in an interview he granted recently that things have gone sour between them.

“I don’t think I am in a marriage. I would just say that what I am in now is pure punishment,” he said, adding that his marriage to Stella will be his final marriage if his it fails.

“This is my final marriage if this one falls apart. I won’t marry again. This is my fifth and the worst marriage, because my wife adopted what is not obtainable. This feels like punishment and not marriage. I doubt if I am still in the marriage, because it seems she has already prepared her mind to leave and I am not going to stop her,’’ he revealed.

The actor who accused a lady from his hometown of instigating his wife against him also stated that he was ready to let the wife have her way so he can enjoy his peace.

“I am not going to stop her. I support her leaving, because each time I see her, I begin to breathe erratically and it is not good for me, because I am not ready to die yet,’’ he said.

Okafor’s estranged wife had in early February shared a video on social media where she accused the actor of beating her and trying to kill her. Sttella also lamented how she has been catering for their children all by herself despite the neglect and domestic abuse from the actor. Okafor’s clarification only confirms that all is not well ‘at home’.

Maureen Okpoko Seeks
Help To Regain Sight
HELP is needed urgently for Nollywood actress Maureen Okpoko. The actress of The Banker and The Duplex fame has revealed in a viral video that she has lost her sight.

“Good day everyone, my name is Maureen Okpoko. I am a Nollywood actor and I have suddenly lost my sight. That means I can no longer see or I cannot see for now,” she said in the video that has gotten over a ten thousand likes and five hundred shares since it was shared on Monday February 15.

“I am seeking for your financial assistance. It will be greatly appreciated if you all can come to my aid. I also need your prayers and words of encouragement’’ she said adding that it has been a tough journey for her since she noticed that she can no longer see.

“It has not been an easy journey for me but I am grateful to God for the gift of life,” she surmised. A busy actress, Maureen played prominent roles in movies such as Wasted, Crazy Temper and Enemy Of Light.
