The hybrid event, which includes a show and talent hunt, will be held at the Emporium Hall, Benin City.

According to the event’s convener, Osagie Idedia, professionally known as Comedian Porkupyne, 13 different contestants will duel in two categories namely: music and comedy, with two saloon cars, as the grand prizes, as well as other consolation prizes.

Revealing the show’s inspiration, Porkupyne said that after emerging as the first runner up of the Peak talent show in 2010, he saw the need to create a platform to support upcoming talents in the country most especially his state of origin.

“At a point I felt that, let us do something like this (Peak Talent hunt) there are a lot of people who are talented and they just need a platform. That was why I said let me come up with this.”

The event, which is supported by the Edo state government, is set to feature performances from comedians such as Mc Edo Pikin, Destalker, Broda Solo, MC Casino among others.
