Covers Africa picks Sound Sultan, Ogbeiwi, Ige Kachi, Macroc as Judges
Ahead of the formal launch, Covers Africa, a talent hunt competition for vocal stars and cover champions, has unveiled Ben Ogbeiwi (The Music Sensei), Efe Macroc (The Chord Fingers), Modupe Ige Kachi (The Vocal Nightingale), and Sound Sultan (Naija Ninja) as fudges for its debut edition tagged The Rise Of Vocal Delivery.
Billed to go live in June, the competition will empower up-and-coming music acts and provide them a platform to showcase their creativity through the talent of other established musicians’ original production. The show is fashioned to give entertainment and music lovers a ‘cover’ experience on TV.
Speaking during the Covers Africa judges unveil, the director of administration of Rising Star Powerhouse and head of strategy media and publicity for Covers Africa, Ubong Kardynal, said, “Covers Africa is designed to be a very unique stage that will enable us to showcase and celebrate the best vocal talents in Nigeria and Africa at large. We will be looking for the next Nigerian vocal star and covers champion.”
Covers Africa judges unveil was powered by Jous Leisures, Nigeria’s reliable leisure partners renowned for enterprises that underline the zoom-zoom-zoom of travel and tours and the va-va-voom of events and integrated meetings and management services.
