The event, which had eminent Nigerians, such as billionaire businessmen, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola, held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

It was the talk of the town and trended all night, as staff members, clients and friends let go and got totally immersed in the celebrations of the special evening.

The UBA CEO Awards remains one of the most-sought-after annual events in the Lagos entertainment calendar. Since inception in 2008, the event keeps getting bigger and better.

The theme of the night, ‘Celebrating Africa,’ was really a celebration of the continent’s rich history and culture.

UBA’s footprint in 20 African countries and London, United Kingdom, Paris, France, and New York, United States, allowed a culturally diverse audience on display at the event.

The bank was also promoting its core value of Enterprise, Excellence and Execution, as staff, who had performed extraordinarily during the year, were rewarded and celebrated throughout the evening.

The bank’s Chairman, Mr. Tony Elumelu, who was at the event with his lovely wife, Awele, said in an interview on the golden carpet that the bank chose that day to reward staff who had worked hard to ensure it remains a leading financial institution on the continent.
