Davido plans collaboration with grammy nominated singer, Jeremih

It is no news that self-proclaimed Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, is a hitmaker, as every song he puts out doesn’t only enjoy massive airplay but also endears him to even more people.

It is no news that self-proclaimed Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, is a hitmaker, as every song he puts out doesn’t only enjoy massive airplay but also endears him to even more people.
  
The Fia singer is no stranger to international collaborations, as he’s teamed up with everyone from Clean Bandit to Young Thug. For his upcoming album, it looks like he is adding more names to the roster, as he announced a collaboration with Grammy-nominated singer, Jeremih.
  
Davido had last weekend released his much-anticipated collaboration with Chris Brown, Blow My Mind. The accompanying video, which arrived on Tuesday, has been very well received, smashing the YouTube record for the fastest Nigerian music video to reach one million views.
  
It will be recalled that shortly after social media went crazy over Nigerian artistes featured on Beyonce’s new album, Davido dropped the new single. As expected, many fans have since taken to social media to react to the song. While many people believe the song is going to be another banger, a few feel otherwise.
  
Although it is yet unclear if the Chris Brown-assisted bop will make it to the Ede-born singer’s long-awaited sophomore album. He has, however, assured fans of one American singer, who is definitely making the cut: Jeremih, who will feature alongside 2Baba on Northboi-produced track, Right Here.
  
Jeremih is best known for his 2009 breakout song, Birthday Sex and the J. Cole-assisted Planez, which bagged him a Grammy nomination. He recently featured on Secret, one of the standouts off Burna Boy’s African Giant,    
  
So far this year, Davido has enjoyed another career spike, no thanks to the rapidly increasing popularity of Nigerian music overseas.
