Bioclinix Medical Diagnostic Centre has received approval and certification from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), marking a significant milestone in its commitment to quality healthcare delivery and diagnostic excellence.

The MLSCN, the statutory federal regulatory body responsible for overseeing medical laboratory practice in Nigeria, approves facilities that meet nationally recognised standards in laboratory operations, personnel competence, quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The approval confirms that Bioclinix Medical Diagnostic Centre operates in line with established professional and ethical standards required for medical laboratory services in the country.

Speaking on the development, Bioclinix’s Director of Diagnostic Services, Babatunde Emmanuel, described the approval as evidence of the centre’s dedication to accuracy, reliability, and patient safety.

“This approval reflects our strong commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services to our patients and healthcare partners. We have invested significantly in modern equipment, qualified professionalsand strict quality control systems to ensure we meet and exceed regulatory expectations,” he said.

Noting that medical laboratory diagnostics play a crucial role in modern healthcare, he said this is just as accurate as test results guide clinical decisions, treatment plans, and disease monitoring.

According to him, regulatory approval by MLSCN assures patients and healthcare providers that laboratory services are conducted in accordance with nationally accepted standards.

Healthcare stakeholders in the region have welcomed the development, noting that improved regulatory compliance among diagnostic centres enhances public confidence in laboratory results and contributes to better health outcomes.

With this approval, Bioclinix Medical Diagnostic Centre is positioned to expand its services and strengthen collaborations with hospitals, clinics, and public health institutions. The centre reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement, staff training, and adherence to best practices in medical laboratory science.

The milestone highlights the growing emphasis on quality assurance and professional regulation within Nigeria’s healthcare sector, as authorities continue to promote higher standards in diagnostic services nationwide.
