Yuletide groove is in the air, and it is raining groovy soundtracks everywhere you look. Juju music maestro, King Sunny Ade (KSA), and superstar singers, Simi and Teni, are currently ruling the airwaves courtesy of a new television commercial (TVC) unveiled recently by digital transformation leader, Globacom.
The commercial, which was released in the countdown to the Christmas celebration, conveys the message of hope, resilience and gratitude, which Globacom has become synonymous with over the years.
The soundtrack for the ad sounds very similar to KSA’s very popular Easy Motion tune. The song opens with the Juju legend doing the Easy Motion call to a soothing response by a couple of backup voices featuring Simi and Teni.
“Glo dey say nagode, daalu o, a dupe! Better dey o, to rule your world….Better don comes, better business, for Africa, for Nigeria and the world”, KSA sings with the two Glo ambassadors.
