They say age 40 marks a new beginning for anyone. For Nigeria’s fraternal duo, P-Square, it is the dawn of a revival, as, after five years of separation, the twin brothers quenched their beef at their 40th birthday celebration, in Lagos, Thursday.

With a dual celebration in both their houses, the reconciled twins, Peter (Mr. P), and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), gave Nigerians a delight as they not only openly forgave each other, they also announced their return.

“What I am about to say is, without any apology, but f*** Rudeboy, and f*** Mr. P, and bring back P-Square,” Paul Okoye said.

The celebration saw several entertainers, including Don Jazzy, Mr. Macaroni, among others join the twins who reeled in excitement. Performing some of their hits, including Chop My Money, Collabo, among others, the twins lit up the crowd with joyful nostalgia.

“What we did was try to correct our mistakes. We didn’t settle any score; everyone was at fault. We had a problem and we have explored the solution. This year, I was proud of my twin brother. I am happy for all he did (as Rudeboy),” Peter Okoye said.

Recall that the twins split due to some unannounced reasons, and both began to build individual careers as solo artistes. While several colleagues and fans pled with them for their return, the brothers celebrated several birthdays without each other, steeped in a quarrel.

Many rumours rent the air then that Paul Okoye’s spouse, Anita Okoye, was the seed of the crisis. However, during the brothers’ reconciliation, she revealed that she had also been on good terms with both brothers, despite their quarrel.
