With the aim to provide fabrics for the sophisticated taste of its customers, Da Viva has unveiled a new line called Paradisio, meaning ‘Paradise’, to meet up to the distinct fashion demands of its customers.

In its bid and mission to make the traditional Ankara fabric an accessible fashion style, not just in Africa but also the international world, Paradisio, which was inspired by nature, was birthed on the basis of the brand’s standing vision for blending cutting edge designs from Europe with vibrant colours associated with traditional African fabrics, to create an ever-changing array of patterns on a range of 100 per cent cotton fabrics with a variety of textures.

Speaking recently during a media chat at the unveiling of the new line in Lagos, Wendy Ata, the Product/Project Development Manager said the brand represent the strategic direction of the company to focus and serve fashion lovers. “Da Viva will deliver on the promise of innovative and fashionable fabrics so that customers can wear our products proudly for any occasion and be the ‘star’ outshining others.

“We are focusing our efforts on unique designs, colouration and integration with European styles and to develop new products by adopting new substrates to give inspiration to our customers to design their outfits. Our extensive networks of conveniently located shops are designed to give an exciting shopping experience. Our tagline ‘Life is Beautiful’, clearly describes our mission and vividly communicates our perception, hence the birth of Paradisio by Da Viva, an innovating, colourful and stylish brand that depicts more of nature with a new printing concept of half-tone effects which reflects the effect of light. Paradisio’s rich and vibrant colours reminds one of the impressionist painting which shows more of nature than exact details and its instinct of photography of Arts,” she said.

Ata further enunciated that the concept of Paradisio is heart warming. “As a design inspired by nature, it gives a feeling of purity, freedom and love. It is colourful and bright and is different from the regular Ankara designs in the market,” she said, adding that the brand’s aim is to create a business/market niche, and to achieve this, utmost attention is paid on the production for higher fabric quality, grade of cloth, quality finish and better printing quality. “The brand caters for the ever-growing appetite of our customers and with its unique diversity in designs of nature and shades of colours, caters for men and women of all shapes and sizes,” she added.
