Despite the serious gaffe that happened at this year’s Oscars held earlier this week when the Oscar for Best Picture was initially given to LaLa Land before it was revealed to be a mistake and given to Moonlight, the stars brought their best foot forward fashion-wise as usual.

The Oscars is regarded as the biggest achievement anybody involved in film can get and while actors and filmmakers work very hard to get them, preparations for the Oscars start months before. From the clothes, to the shoes, the accessories, hair and skin care, everything is planned for months, culminating in one night, whether or not one is nominated.

This year was no different as celebrities rocked several known and unknown brands and while some looked stunning and red-carpet ready, others fell flat and let us down.
