Billionaire businessman, Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, Chairman of Smile Communications and Group Managing Director of the Obijackson Group, the parent company of Nestoil; Energy Works Technology (EWT) and other companies, is set to marry off his eldest daughter, Chinazo Isabelle Azudialu-Obiejesi, an engineer, to Dr. Mekam Tochukwu Okoye on Saturday, February 4 at Our Saviour’s Church, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

The ceremony, which commences with a church service, would be followed by an elaborate reception at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island.The white wedding is the second phase of the marriage ceremony, the traditional marriage rites having taken place in Okija, Anambra State on Saturday, November 12, last year.

The event was attended by dignitaries from far and near, and different walks of life, a testimony of the billionaire’s reach and influence. Azudialu-Obiejesi is not only a successful businessman, he is also a philanthropist committed to socio-economic development of society.

As Founder of the Obijackson Foundation, organisers of the ‘Face of Okija,’ an annual music and cultural festival targeted at youth empowerment and rejuvenation of the Igbo culture, he is also deeply involved in community development, scholarship award, healthcare provision and welfare programmes for the less privileged in society.

Azudialu-Obiejesi, the Osuofia of Okija and a serial entrepreneur, he epitomises the African entrepreneurial spirit.
