Ogun First Lady, Olufunso Amosun, serenades at 50

Wife of Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Olufunso, is still in a flurry of excitement at the moment. Her source of joy is limitless, as last Monday, May 2, the beautiful woman celebrated her golden jubilee.

Congratulations have not stopped pouring forth for Olufunso from people in all walks of life, especially those whose lives she has touched in more ways than one. So, if you see Abimbola wearing a wide grin, now you know the reason.

The activities to mark the day had kicked off with a special prayer penultimate Friday at the Government House mosque as part of activities marking her 50th birthday anniversary.

In a similar manner on Sunday, May 1, a church service to commemorate the birthday also took place in her honour. Amosun, speaking at the church service, thanked God for the life of the First Lady, as he joined her in cutting a birthday cake alongside family, friends and members of the state executive council present at the service.
