
Defending champions Zamalek continued their dominance with a flawless 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-11) victory over Spiking Stars of Botswana on Sunday, maintaining a 100% winning record in Pool B.
The match was part of the 2025 African Women’s Volleyball Inter-Club Championship, held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The competition is organised by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
ZMK attacked with purpose and led 8-2 within a few minutes. Powerful hits and monster blocks got a run of points for the Egyptians. ZMK were too strong and ran clear to take the set 25-18.
In the second set, ZMK took the first point and several errors from SSP put ZMK firmly in front. ZMK led significantly and SSP had little answer as ZMK sealed it 25-14.

SSP were in trouble early on in the 3rd set again as ZMK pushed on confidently. SSP made a few points but, in the end, it was a clean 3-0 sweep, the last set 25-11 to ZMK.
