Kayode Fayemi celebrates 54th birthday in style

Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi last Sunday, February 10, celebrated his 54th birthday in grand style in a well-attended birthday ceremony that had in attendance Ekiti State Government top functionaries, family and close associates.

During the thanksgiving service in commemoration of his birthday, Fayemi thanked Ekiti people who stood by him during the last governorship election, saying: “If one adds another year in good health and in the service of God and the country, it is not by might, neither is it by some exceptional ability that one is placed in this position to serve our people. I want to thank the people for their support.”

The former minister of Solid Minerals Development also expressed appreciation to the people who have been supportive since his administration started about three months ago.

At the event were his Deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi; Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeniran Alagbada; members of the State Executive Council; top civil servants; party faithful and well-wishers.
