King Wadada, Humblesmith thrill at Mykmary Fashion show, awards
Iconic reggae artiste, Austin Peter, popularly known as King Wadada, and afro-pop recording artiste, Ekenedirichukwu Ijemba, also known as Humblesmith, were among the celebrities that graced this year’s Mykmary Fashion Show and Awards, which held recently.
Both artistes serenaded guests that included celebrities, the media and fashion enthusiasts with their performances, as they reeled out tunes from their albums.
Speaking at the event, CEO of Mykmary Fashion House, Michael Onyemah said, “clothing has always been a big business; as of today, it’s worth more than 30 billion dollars, creating more job opportunities to the economy, and Mykmary Fashion House has taken bold step to see through connecting the dot to build fashion entrepreneurs all around the globe.”
Onyemah said that fashion would continues to make impact in the creative industry on African continent and in the world at large with a singular focus on promoting indigenous fashion brands.
“On this premise, Mykmary Fashion Show and Awards is set up to attract several visitors from within and outside Lagos, including investors, sales agents, manufacturers, business representatives, potential customers, and those seeking joint venture & partnership in the fashion sector.”
Also speaking at the ceremony, the producer Mykmary Fashion Show 2021 and CEO of Eletu Concept, Prince Azeez Kayode Eletu said, “The Nigerian fashion industry is going international and Mykmary Fashion House is among the list.
Celebrities that also graced the event include Etinosa Idemudia, Jude Orhorha, Hakeem Rahman, Tony Akposheri, MC Obeleife, Mercy Alexander, among others.
