Lagos hots up as Debola weds Kehinde today
The Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, will bubble today, as Co-founder/CEO of RED for Africa, Adebola Williams, weds his heartthrob Kehinde Daniel, daughter of former governor of Ogun State, Otunmba Gbenga Daniel.
The wedding ceremony, which is expected to attract movers and shakers of the society, will open in the morning with marriage blessing before the wedding reception, which kicks off at 2pm.
It would be recalled that Adebola Williams engaged his sweetheart Kehinde last year.
Nigerian singer Omawumi was the first to announce the good news on her timeline, as she shared visuals of Debola, who went on one knee, in a boat to pop the question to Kehinde with a placard that read: “Marry me.”
Kehinde Daniel works with KPMG as an analyst.
Singer-songwriter John Ighodaro, known on stage as Johnny Drille, was there to serenade the couple with beautiful music, alongside their friends.
A pioneer at the intersection of media, democracy and social change, Adebola Williams is co-founder and chief executive officer of RED, which owns Africa’s largest portfolio of youth media brands that engages millions of youths on the continent, including Red Media Africa, StateCraft, the Future Awards Africa, and YNaija.com. Williams co-founded EnoughisEnough (EiE) in 2010, one of Nigeria’s foremost civic participation groups and a voice for young people on politics.
