The city of Abuja, the nation’s capital, went agog on Wednesday, the 5th of February, 2025, as Alhaji Abdulhakeem Oyeniyi Bello (Asiwaju), the chairman/CEO of one of the leading real estate firms in the city, Realscope Holdings Ltd, marked his 50th birthday.
The classy Rainbow Event Marquee, located in the Garki area of Abuja, was the place to be for the event that attracted high-net-worth individuals from across the country, including traditional and religious rulers, former and serving legislators, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, captains of industry, and members of the organized private sector.
Co-hosted by two renowned comperes, Gbenga Adeyinka and multi-talented, multilingual Adedeji Odulesi, who speaks seven languages fluently, the 50th birthday celebration of Asiwaju Bello was indeed a gathering of the who’s who in Nigeria’s business, entertainment, and housing sectors.
In their goodwill messages, the celebrant’s primary and secondary schoolmates, including his university mates, attested to his humility, kindness, and friendly nature.
They attributed his success story to hard work, dedication, determination, resilience, and his overwhelming generosity. They recalled how disciplined he was, which they said formed the basis for his greatness in life.
The expansive Rainbow Event Marquee was full to the brim, with others sitting outside the hall viewing the ceremony on a large screen projector.
The Chairman of the organizing committee, Hon. Sani, welcomed the guests and prayed for more fruitful and healthy years for the celebrant, whom he described as a man of the people.
“I welcome you all to this occasion as we have gathered to celebrate one of our own, a great man, a man of the people. I lack words to describe the kind of person this great man is. He’s indeed a great man in all ramifications, so thank you for gathering here today to honor him.”
An associate of the celebrant and S.A. on Diaspora to the Kogi State governor, Hajia Khadijah Suleiman, said of the celebrant, “Alhaji Abdulhakeem Bello is a kind man, he’s a good man, and above all, he cares for people in need. He takes people’s problems as his own. We adore him so much because he’s a good family man, an example of fatherhood, an example to us, and we appreciate him so much.”
Other guests also spoke glowingly of the generosity and large-heartedness of the celebrant.
The legendary Fuji music veteran, the award-winning music maestro, King Ayinde Wasiu Marshal, was on ground to entertain the celebrant and the guests.
