Mr. Raw, Runtown, HumbleSmith & others turn up at PGK Night of Lights
It was indeed an awesome time as the music blended with the night. It was the official launch of the fresh new face in the Nigerian digital media landscape, Priority Global Konnect — PGK.
The exclusive event, held at Chateau de Atlantique, Victoria Island with a futuristic theme, attracting Nigeria’s A-list celebrities, media and top management in corporate Nigeria.
In line with the company’s corporate ethos, guests were teased with live music from Salt of The Earth band as a prelude to the ‘night of lights’.
Guests were also delighted with performances from PGK All Stars, Kenny Wonder, Mr. Raw, HumbleSmith, DJ Bobby, and a special appearance from Runtown.
They were ushered to the highly anticipated futuristic disco nights of silent glowing headsets, a dark room and multi screens displaying all PGKs’ finest entertainment content across its’ radio and television platforms.
Committed to create an entertainment experience that drives conversation and culture, the company began operations in 2017, building content for its online media platforms such as Priority Radio and Priority TV, both hosted on the PGK app, which is available on Android and IOS.
Although the company officially opened its doors for business recently, it has been involved in the Nigerian entertainment industry for quite a while, powering one of the most exciting shows called ‘The Laughter Card’ in Calabar, Cross River State capital.
In an increasingly crowded landscape of media content, PGK stands out as futuristic in it’s approach to digital media content with a nod to the cutting edge documentary video format.
As a platform, PGK has all it takes be successful in the entertainment industry as it offers different services including video shooting, editing, and production.
To celebrate Nigeria’s homegrown talent, the outfit launched ‘Unsung Artiste’, a platform created to discover and nurture unknown artistes. The winner takes home N1million naira in cash and gift prizes.
The first edition of the talent hunt was launched October this year and the top three winners went home with cash prizes, artiste branding and world-class studio recording sessions.
