“My plan is to be more consistent this year” – BLINX


Obinna Okolie aka ‘Blinx’ is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and producer. Born on 7th of January, 1991 in Enugu, Enugu State of Nigeria. In 2018 He relocated to Cape Town, South Africa at the age of 27 to further his education and pursue a career in music. There he began to work within the the camp of other talented musicians and went on to make a joint project (E.P) with a multi talented artist know as Pow, but due to contractual issues the EP was never released.

In 2019 Obi debuted on the music scene with the release of two singles titled “Six Figures” and “Suicide”. Even as an uprising artist, he still managed to gain attention with lots of streams across all major platforms. His kind of music (Trap-Soul) is a food for millennials and rap music lovers.


Blinx is currently working on his debut project that is set to be released in the 3rd quarter of the year, the EP will feature a couple of other emerging artists and two major artists in the Nigerian music industry. After which he plans to release a deluxe version as follow up to the EP. “My plan is to be more consistent this year. I will be releasing music more often so I can show case more of my music” Okolie says

Armed with the tools needed to make headway in the music industry, Blinx has been making steady progress. He is set to take his music career to the next level.
