The Oba-elect of Odo Nla kingdom-Ikorodu, Lagos, Prince Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh has lost his mother, Alhaja Falilat Titilayo Ebun Alake Olowolekomoh. She passed away at the age of 75, on February 13, 2023 and was buried the next day, February 14, according to Islamic rites, at number 6, Oremolu Street, Ikorodu, Lagos.

The Fidua prayers will be held for her on February 21, at the Soga Lekomoh International Limited, Plot 314, Lagos Road, Majidun, Ikorodu, Lagos, between 12 noon and 2pm.

Paying tribute to his late mom, Prince Olowolekomoh, businessman and philanthropist said: “Whilst acknowledging your condolences, prayers and supports, I use this opportunity to express my profound appreciations for the affections and sympathies extended to my family during this time. May we all be survived by our children and enjoy good health and longevity to old age by the special grace of God Almighty, the giver of life.

“My best regards also to those who are able to spare their precious time to attend the burial event impromptu. Will appreciate your presence at the 8th day Fidau prayer on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Time is 12noon. Thank you all and accept my compliments.”

It would be recalled that Olowolekomoh emerged the Oba elect of Odo-Nla kingdom last December among other five contestants to the ancient throne from the Ogbodo and Raselu ruling houses respectively contested for the royal crown.

It was a painstaking and thorough exercise that produced Olowolekomoh as revealed by Asiwaju Otunba David Ekiyoyo, the Olootu Oba Meta in a signed statement.

“Sequel to the formal announcement from the office of The Olotu Omo’ba Meta Royal family, Odo-Nla via a press conference at the community Town Hall on Thursday, 4th January, 2022 it has become imperative for the office once again to issue another official statement in the public’s interest to dispel the ubiquitous rumors, lies and petty propaganda emanating from the quarters of disgruntled individuals and interlopers and none Omo’ba Meta Royal family members, coming up with so many different manipulated unrealistic stories that shall all be dealt with accordingly in the tribunal soonest.”
