Osinbajo, Obaseki, others step out for Captain Okunbo’s hotel opening in Abuja

Billionaire businessman businessman, Captain Hosa Okunbo, has officially opened his multibillion-naira hotel.

Prominent Nigerians, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, thronged Asokoro District to felicitate with the Edo State-born moneybag.

The hotel, which is relatively affordable for all classes, named The Wells Carlton and Apartments, is located in the serene of Asokoro in Abuja.


It offers 14 luxury apartments and penthouses for the delight of those who want the best for relaxation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Okunbo said the edifice took him nine years to achieve, adding: “The brand stands for my character of tenacity, perfection, integrity and excellence.

“I bought the land in 1999 for N10million and I started the construction in 2009 and I commissioned it nine years after.”

It was a well-attended event that had a pretty roll call of notable personalities, such as Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, Adams Oshiomhole, Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Chief John Odigie-Oyegun among others.

Rave of the moment singers and comedian, Davido, Kiss Daniel, Ali Baba were on ground to thrill the guests.
