Paul Play returns with Angel Of My Life Remix, features Runtown

After what will be considered years of hiatus, veteran singer, songwriter, and producer, Paul Play Dairo returns to the music scene with the remix of his mega hit song Angel Of My Life featuring Gallardo singer, Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown.

The new hit, which has Afrobeats flavour was released yesterday. It is believed that while people who grew in the 2000s will like the original version, the remix is not a bad project.

Recalled that when the singer stormed the music scene with a resurrected version of his father’s (late I. K. Dairo) Mo So Rire in 1999, everyone knew a star had been born and then he hit us, again and again, the following year with hit singles like Angel of my life, Forever, You and me, and his career shot for the skies.

This is not the first time the smooth singer will make a come after a period of disappearance, as he was found missing in action some ago following an ill health that sent him into a long hiatus.

In an interview he granted then, Paul Play admitted his disappearance; blaming it rightly on an illness that almost wiped his name clean off the slate of music or perhaps this very world.
