Nigerian actress Precious Kasarachi Charles, professionally known as Precious K Charles, is expanding her work across acting, film production and digital media, combining her screen career with entrepreneurial activities through her company, Kasimma TV.

Based in Lagos, Precious began her professional acting career in 2022 and has since taken on production responsibilities, including producer and executive-producer roles. Her work also extends to digital content creation, lifestyle influencing and collaborations with brands in music marketing, skincare and lifestyle.

Her growing involvement in different areas of the creative industry reflects a career that extends beyond on-screen performances.

Precious’ entry into entertainment began with skits and short plays, which introduced her to storytelling and encouraged her to pursue acting professionally.

“I started with skits and short plays, and loved the idea of telling stories that people could watch, relate to, and enjoy,” she said.

“That passion for storytelling inspired me to pursue acting and entertainment.”

Since beginning her professional career, she has appeared in several Nigerian productions, including Fix My Heart, Papa’s Princess, Home Coming, Designed for Me, Incredible Hearts, The Price of Us, Campus Love, Broken Journey and My Heaven.

Her experience also includes collaborations with Nollywood actors Tobi Bakare and Timini Egbuson.

In addition to acting, Precious has assumed responsibilities behind the camera, working as a producer and executive producer on various projects.

These roles represent another area of her involvement in filmmaking, alongside her work as a performer.

Precious’ professional activities also include digital media through Kasimma TV, her company, which forms part of her involvement in online film distribution.

She creates content around entertainment, skits, music and lifestyle, while also identifying as a tech influencer.

Her digital work includes an active presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat.

She has also worked with brands in music marketing, skincare and lifestyle, combining content creation with commercial collaborations.

Beyond the entertainment sector, Precious’ academic training is in Information Technology, a background that connects with her interest in digital platforms and media.

She attended NVRI Staff School before studying at the National Open University of Nigeria, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology in 2025.

Precious is originally from Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State but spent much of her formative years in Jos, Plateau State.

She said growing up in the northern city exposed her to different cultural traditions and helped her develop an understanding of people from diverse backgrounds.

“Growing up in the North, especially in Jos, was a beautiful experience,” she said. “The weather was cold most of the time, and Jos was home to people from so many different tribes and cultures.”

She added that the experience helped her learn about different traditions and become fluent in Hausa.

“Being surrounded by such diversity gave me the opportunity to learn about different traditions and cultures, and it also helped me become fluent in Hausa,” she said.

Precious is of Igbo heritage and speaks English, Igbo and Hausa. She was born on May 27.

The actress has identified Angelina Jolie as a source of inspiration, citing the Hollywood star’s acting and public presence.

“Actually I find Angelina Jolie very inspiring as she bodies her role and also inspire me in the way she carries herself,” Precious said.

Her career now spans performance, production, brand collaborations and digital content creation.

As she continues to work in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, Precious is developing her professional presence across these areas, with Kasimma TV remaining part of her involvement in digital media and online film distribution.
