SirVic steps out with Take Over
After many years in the trenches, Akwa Ibom-born gospel artiste Victor Ekpo, aka SirVic, is back with an Extended Playlist (EP) dubbed, Take Over, which is a Christian Gospel record that shines for its vibrancy.
The four-track EP features Port Harcourt-based vocalist, Obinna Okorie and as well as other popular gospel acts such as,Uscrooner and Prinx Emmanuel.
SirVic started out his career in Port Harcourt, in 2003, which also saw him transitioning from singing to rapping. In 2013, he dished out two more songs, featuring legendary worship leader Afy Douglas in one.
On this EP, some standout tracks include, Joyful and Get Your Praise On. The EP is a fine blend of highlife and Afro-pop.
The singer hopes that with this new project, he will begin to explore more of his musical mastery, which has been hidden “in the trenches for years.”
