The honcho at IROKO Productions, Mary Remmy Njoku, is not your usual social media person. She doesn’t sleep and wake on Instagram as some celebrities do. Whenever the hardworking wife of the media content entrepreneur Jason Njoku decides to post, it must be something worth the while. If Mary is not promoting a new movie or a new business venture, she is celebrating her family, or a close friend (they say she doesn’t have many) or telling us about something new from the stable of IROKO studios.

But the production queen dedicated her Instagram page two Wednesday ago for a special birthday shout out to notable actress and producer Ruth Kadiri. In the terse (a bird squealed that Mary is very miserly with written words) message she penned on her page, Queen Mary described the pretty Edo state born actress and producer as ‘a very talented filmmaker and friend‘.

Mary prayed God to open many doors for the producer of ‘Somebody Lied’, ‘Memory Lane’ and ‘Over The Edge’ in 2020 and wait for this last line from Mary whom Ruth referred to in the comment section as ‘Mami’: ‘’Enjoy your day inside your house ooo!!!’’ Meaning that Ruth should celebrate in ‘isolation’ as such a corona time as this.
